South America - South America is riddled with bright colours and warm smiles. South America is now a travel hotspot and its largest city of Brazil is a cosmopolitan yet exotic option for those that want it all.

Travelling through South America you will hear plenty Portuguese and Spanish, and English in all high-travel countries. Music is an important aspect of South Americans and it is here where some dances were born, such as the tango from Argentina, cumbia from Colombia, bossa nova and samba from Brazil. South American culture is influenced by U.S.A, Portugal, Europe and Spain.

Eating in South America you will find a cuisine preparation and ingredient combination of Chinese, Japanese, Andean, Amazon, African and Spanish and it is an ethnically diverse experience with its main influences from the American Indian, Africans (such as the West African cuisine found in Brazil), Europe and Asia.

Drinking in South America you will find Mate which is a brewed herbal drink in Argentina, Southern Chile, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay. Terere is the cold Paraguayan version of this drink. Wine is loved by all and the Peruvians and Chileans produce grapevine liquor called Pisco.

South America’s Iguazu Falls bordering Brazil and Argentina, it is taller than Niagara Falls, with over 270 cascades and flowing in a horseshoe shape.

South America’s Angel Falls in Venezuela has an 807 meter drop and over 15 times the height of Niagara Falls. At almost 980 meters the falls are located in Venezuela's Canaima National Park where the tourist can enjoy views from air.
