*Enquire from your Airline on checked baggage status for the above.
Liquids needed by the passenger during the trip (toiletries etc. must be:
a) Items are packed in a re-sealable clear plastic bag smaller than 1 liter in size.
b) The items packed should contain less than 30ml per item.
c) The bag must be sealed.
d) The contents must easily fit in the bag.
e) The bag must be given to Security staff at the boarding entry for screening/inspection separate from cabin luggage.
f) Items more than the above requirements must be stated to security staff.
g) All passengers will be subjected to secondary boarding gate screening/searches.
No liquids purchased at Duty Free will be allowed carriage in the cabin of the aircraft but should be within their checked baggage.
Exceptions are:
a) Baby formula/milk for accompanying baby.
b) Prescription medicine (liquid and gel).
c) Essential other non-prescription medicines less than 120ml per item, to include saline solution and eye drops plus contact lens solution.
d) Liquids and gels (such as juice) for diabetic passengers who indicate a need for such items due to their medical condition. Quantities no more than 148ml per container.
e) Solid cosmetics and personal hygiene items.
The size of cabin baggage are usually 1 item of no more than half a meter long, 45cm in width and 20 – 25cm deep. Only a musical instrument will be allowed as second hand baggage.
