Nigeria - Fishermen on the Niger River. Equatorially Western Africa, this populated country is known for its mystical and wild beauty. It has the equatorial climate in the South where it has a coastline on the Gulf of Guinea, an arid North, and tropical centre. Nigeria is prone to flooding and droughts, regular hurricanes and tornados. Nigeria rubs shoulders with Cameroon, Chad, Benin and Niger.
The Nigerian geography is mountainous (with a highest point on Chappal Waddi at almost 2,500m) on the Southeast with plains in the North and lowland- to hilly in the South. The Niger River flows from the northwest south through tropical rain forests and swamps to the Gulf of Guinea delta.

Health scares are for AIDS/HIV and protected sex is a must.
Vaccination requirements: Yellow fever.
Vacinations agains polio and precuations for malaria are highly advised.
Water: Buy Swan water as it is safe drinking water, to be boufht from convenience stores only.

Visas are mostly required.
