Africa, South Eastern: Mozambique

The gorgeous Mozambique has become a very popular travel destination due to stunning beaches, lagoons, coral reefs and tropical islands such as the Bazaruto islands often visited on luxury cruiseships. Mozambique is popular with both sexes as many fishing enthusiasts flock to places like Linene Island, while their female partners enjoy the sun and surf. It is also home to 2 of Southern Africa's longest rivers, the Limpopo and the Zambezi. It has warm humid coastal conditions with the dry season from April to October and a rainy summer from November to March (when Malaria is high-risk).

The Capital city, Maputo, is a most attractive city and well worth exploring. From here you can take a ferry trip to the Inhaca Island. Xai Xai is another attraction and as Gaza's capital it offers holiday-makers all they need in terms of shopping. More attractions include Ponto Du Ouro, Gorongosa National Park, The Bazaruto Archipelago (Marine National Park), Pemba (Papaya Paradise) and much, much more.
