Karukareb Widerness Reserve is situated in a beautiful secluded kloof adjacent to the Cederberg Wilderness Area at the foothills of the Krakadouw Mountains in a World Heritage site.

We accommodate a small number of guests to retain the Wilderness experience. 20 minutes drive from Clanwilliam (13km). 230km (2 ½ hrs drive from Cape Town).

The Lodge: 4 Twin Bedded rooms, 1 Single room (sleeps 9) - Old farm house into an up market 4 star lodge, African Colonial interior, kitchenette for tea/coffee and sitting room with leather couches. Fireplace for the winter evenings. We offer shower and toilet en suite, duck down duvets, air-conditioned rooms, heaters.

Luxury 4 star Safari Canvas Lodge: 5 Twin bedded (sleeps 10). Each lodge has a private timber deck facing the river, meals in the restaurant, gas bar fridge. We offer shower / Victorian bath en suite, duck down duvets, cotton percale linen and solar power.
