 | Lake Eland Game Reserve is an impressive 5 000 acre privately owned farm, situated in Oribi Gorge, a 35 minute from Port Shepstone. Although a relatively new reserve, Lake Eland already boasts an abundance of game. There are a few view sites along the game drive from where you can enjoy the spectacular beauty of the gorge. The 80m long suspension bridge hanging over the gorge (130m high) allows an unique glimpse into the majesty of the gorge, and once across, Hells Gate presents itself, the actual beginnings of the Oribi Gorge. Well worth the visit, you will surely be impressed by nature’s grandeur! |
