This large, open and arid country is a landlock of mostly wild and flat expanse (Kalahari Desert) on the Central and South. The thirds that's left, to the North, is where you will find the great Okavango Delta (with excellent reserves), teeming with wildlife.

Excellent travelling months fall between May and July with warm and dry days and cold nights - making game-viewing great. Of the many attractions, the central Kalahari Game Reserve, Okavango Delta, the Chobe National Park and the Moremi Wildlife Reserve, Makgadikgadi pans Game Reser and Nxai Pan National Park rate amongst the best.
