Amazing Asia

Asia is a highly attractive travel destination with mystical geographic, customs and traditions, religions and philosophies plus amazing people. This continent is an unforgettable destination and Asia’s travel statistics seems to grow by 7,9% annually!

Asian religions include the Indian religions of Hinduism, Sikhism, Buddhism and Jainism from South Asia. In East Asia, including China and Japan, the traveller experiences a lot of Zen Buddhism, Shinto, Confucianism and Taoism.

Many of the philosophies and traditions originate from China and India and are vastly different. Buddhist and Hindu philosophies are more spiritual and focus and importance is placed on non-material aspects, while other philosophies encourage the ultimate enjoyment of materialism.

Asian cuisine features high on its visitor’s appreciation of this continent.

Dining in China, Japan and Korea meals are often made with seasonings, spices and foods that is also high in medicinal properties and appreciated for their association with religious traditions. Many meals are also cooked with sauces, oils and fats, are deep-fried (often in Japan) or sautéed (often in Korea).

Dining in Singapore, Brunei, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam, the traveller will enjoy light, tasty foods with preparation of steaming or quick stir-frying and including discrete seasoning and spices, soy sauce and citrus juices, herbs such as lemon grass, ginger, mint and basil.

Dining in Burma, Sri Lanka, India and Pakistan will eat a lot of Nan and chapattis (flat bread), kebabs, rice, beans and hot peppers, strong spices and ghee (a butter).
To the diving enthusiast Asia offers the amazing and exotic destinations of the Maldives, Thailand's Koh Lanta, Micronesia such as Palau and Indonesia’s Irianjaya and other.

Asia is incredibly large - it contains most of the world’s population and covers almost 10% of its surface area making this the largest, most populated of all continents.
