For South Africa, being allowed to host 2010 Soccer World Cup Finals is momentous. Initiated for the 1st time in 1920 to come to Africa, it is now finally taking place here in RSA between June 11 and July 11, 2010.

South Africa is developing infrastructure and locals are preparing to sensitize for large numbers of foreigners of diverse backgrounds. Transport, hospitality, media and other public/private institutions are all going through a growth spurt and the South African Police is constantly coming up with safety and security ideas targeted at specifically tourists.

Plans are in place to reawaken pride in culture, authenticity and all things African. The focus will be on traditional music, arts & crafts, fashion, cuisine, dance, architecture, photography, cinema & theatre.

Soccer City This opportunity given to us by FIFA will unite all of Africa. It will serve as link between ethnic groups and because of its language of rules and codes of conduct; it brings together a worldly connection. Soccer could blur the borders of nationalities, races and ethnic groups. What’s more, Africa will for the first time ever, have 6 teams in the World Cup Finals!

Above all, having such high testosterone levels, passion and emotion on South African home turf, makes for an exotic and intense experience!
